DESCRIPTION: The on-call contract is for furnishing labor, equipment, and materials for the maintenance, repair, or rehabilitation of District water system facilities, roadway infrastructure, hillside slopes, and related works for a total amount of up to One Million Dollars ($1,000,000).

The East Bay Regional Park District (Park District) manages approximately 127,000 acres of parkland and multiple park facilities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The Park District is issuing this Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFQ) to identify firms to support the Design & Construction Department in a variety of areas related to habitat restoration and vegetation management services (see Scope of Services).

Description: This contract is for furnishing labor and equipment for the installation of approximately 7,900 linear feet of 8-inch, 6-inch, and 4-inch welded steel pipe and 6-inch PVC pipe with valves, fittings, pipe disinfection, and appurtenances.

General Work Description: The Various Potable Water Cleaning and Inspection Project generally consist of, but is not limited to, interior cleaning of City of Fairfield above ground steel reservoirs treatment plant facilities, underground reservoirs, conduits, and high lift pump station sumps. The work also includes removing and disposing of any debris, sediment, or sludge, performing interior inspection and documentation of all surfaces (roof, walls, floor, hatches, man ways, etc.) and appurtenances (piping, support columns, ladder, cathodic protection, monitoring equipment, etc.), providing written repair recommendations for distressed areas (if any), minor spot repairs, de-chlorination and filtration of cleaning discharge, installation of flowmeter on discharge, dechlorination sampling, maintain reservoir quality (disinfection) at all times, and other items of work called for in the plans, specified in the Special Provisions, and as directed by the City Engineer. The facilities identified for this project at the North Bay Regional Water Treatment Plant include: Treated-Water Pump Station Sump (TWPS), Chlorine Contact Basin (CCB), and Settled- Water Conduit (SWC).

The San Juan Avenue Complete Streets Project – Phase 1B is a sidewalk infill project with pavement rehabilitation of San Juan Avenue from Chesline Drive to Spicer Drive. The Project scope of work includes: • Repair and install curb, gutter and sidewalk concrete medians • Install ADA and transit bus stop improvements • Storm drainage improvements • Water main modifications • Retaining walls • Pavement rehabilitation • Signing and striping • Traffic signal modifications • Traffic signal interconnect • Street lighting.

General Description of Work: The work generally consists of mobilization, developing, implementing and maintaining a traffic control system and water pollution control program, cold planing, removing and disposing of existing pavement, placement of hot mix asphalt materials, lowering and adjusting utility covers, installing traffic striping, pavement markings, and roadside signs, cleanup of the project areas, and other items of work as shown in the contract documents.

The project involves exterior painting work including but not limited to the following: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to remove/prepare existing failed or peeling exterior paint, (assume existing paint contains Lead) patch damaged surfaces and apply one (1) coat of primer and two (2) coats of finish paint to all designated exterior surfaces, including wood sidings, masonry/stucco/concrete/ CMU wall surfaces, Ramps, Roof Fascia, Gutter, Downspout, piping, Conduits, windows, doors and frames, complete per manufacturer's written instructions.

General description: This project has two distinct work locations and scope. Location A is along the west side of State Route 29 from Crawford Way to Poco Way. Work primarily consists of rehabilitating 2,870 linear feet of existing 10" diameter sewer via pipe-bursting and upsizing to 18” diameter. Location B is on Andrew Road from Donaldson Way to Wilson Way. Work primarily consists of rehabilitating 1,760 linear feet of existing 6" diameter sewer via pipe-bursting and upsizing to 8” diameter.

General work description: Repair landslide at Orinda Oaks Park: Excavate approximately 780 CY of soil material in slide area to reuse for the repair. Place geogrid layers and reuse soil (and import approximately 80 CY soil fill) to rebuild slope (approximately 880 CY) to repair slide area and conform to original grades. Place jute mesh over affected areas. Note: Project will not begin until circa May 2027, after upcoming winter storm season.
