Public Projects

The Project consists of modernizing the central kitchen, including the replacement of existing kitchen equipment, as well as the installation of new walk-in freezers and refrigerators. The scope also includes the modifications to existing utilities and finishes as needed to connect replacement equipment.

General Work Description: Re-striping of Kentucky Street and Broadway Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Union Avenue and providing new Class II bike lanes. Each street is approximately 0.5- mile long.

The District is seeking proposals from experienced, reputable, and qualified Licensed Timber Operators and/or Tree Service Contractors to selectively remove eucalyptus, pines and other trees and to reduce ladder fuels and accumulated surface fuels on 54 acres in Anthony Chabot Regional Park. The project is split into two tasks: Task 1 is the project area in the Anthony Chabot Campground area. Task 2 is the project area east of the Skyline Fuel Break on the west side of Grass Valley Creek. The projects have distinctly different terrain and access. Task 1 has scheduling restraints based on public campground closure and eagle nesting season. The project area includes sensitive habitats. During the entire project, the protection and preservation of environmentally sensitive areas is of high importance. The Contractor shall avoid adverse impacts to cultural resources, habitat and wildlife.

The work shall include pavement rehabilitation on the San Marino Alley. Improvements include but are not limited to mobilization and demobilization, public notification, traffic control, clearing, grubbing, environmental protection, potholing, adjusting and replacing utility boxes and covers, removing concrete, asphalt concrete, and subgrade materials, subgrade preparation and compaction, grading, placing concrete flatwork and associated improvements (e.g., curb and gutter, sidewalk and ADA/PROWAG compliant curb ramps), and incidentals in accordance with the intent of the Project Plans and Specifications.

Sealed bids for the Furnishing and Delivery of six (6) 18-Inch Double Offset Electropneumatic Butterfly Valve Packages will be received at the Office of Purchasing, Marin Municipal Water District, 220 Nellen Avenue, Corte Madera, CA 94925, until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Board of Directors' room by the Secretary or a designated representative. This contract is for furnishing and delivery of six (6) 18-Inch Double Offset Electropneumatic Butterfly Valve Packages. The delivery of all valve packages is due by January 30, 2026. See Special Provisions Section 1.4 for details.

General Work Description: Install an asphalt rubber chip seal, associated surface preparation and striping on Shiloh Road and Montezuma Hills Road in Rio Vista, CA. Work also includes surface preparation, base failure repairs, and micro-surfacing at Nut Tree Airport in Vacaville, CA.

Scope of Work: The work to be done in general consists of mobilization; preparatory work, securing the work area for public safety, and daily site cleanup, clearing and grubbing, traffic control; water pollution control program; cold planing of asphalt pavement; placement of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) inlay; installation of shoulder backing from AC grinding; constructing AC base failure repairs and HMA plugs; lowering and raising of utility covers to finish grade; removal & replacement of traffic striping and pavement markings; and all other work shown on the Plans and specified in the Project Specifications.

The work to be done generally consists of centerline striping removal, installing centerline rumble strip, centerline striping, and channelizer placement along portions of Vasco Road between the intersection with Walnut Boulevard and the Frisk Creek Bridge in eastern Contra Costa County. The work also includes replacing the signal heads and installing backplates with retroreflective edges and installation of battery back-up systems at the intersections of Vasco Road and Walnut Boulevard, and Vasco Road and Camino Diablo.

This contract is for furnishing labor and equipment necessary to support watershed vegetation maintenance & trails maintenance. The work to be completed is located within multiple locations on the Mt Tamalpais Watershed within the County of Marin, California.
