RFP - Tilden Wildland Fuels Reduction
The East Bay Regional Park District (“District”) is seeking proposals from experienced, reputable, and qualified Licensed Timber Operators and/or Tree Service Contractors to complete large-scale removal of eucalyptus, pines and other trees and to reduce ladder fuels and accumulated surface fuels on 56.3 acres in Tilden Regional Park. The project is split into two tasks: Task 1 is the project area surrounding the Tilden Merry-Go-Round. Task 2 is the project area south of the Tilden Park Golf Course. Both projects must be complete before or by December 1st, 2026 and have other time constraints due to public safety and sensitive resource

On-site project tour will be held January 7th, 2026 at 10:00am. The meeting location will be the Tilden Merry-Go-Round Parking Area at the intersection of Central Park Drive and Lake Anza Rd. Park by the red Fuels trucks.
