Conn Creek Water Line Project

Project Description/Scope of Work: This project is an upgrade to a segment of the existing North Bay Aqueduct pipeline that parallels the Silverado Trail and crosses the Conn Creek floodway to provide water to the City of Calistoga. The existing 12” pipeline under the streambed has been exposed to heavy scour and erosion and a concrete cap was placed over the pipeline during an emergency repair. The main purpose of the project is to remove the concrete cap and existing pipeline from the creek, so it won’t impede fish passage. The new pipeline will be mounted on the Caltrans bridge which was recently reconstructed, and inserts were installed to support the new pipeline.
