RFP - Pallid Manzanita Survey

The East Bay Regional Park District (Park District) is seeking a consultant to conduct a census and survey to update the 2017 baseline survey for pallid manzanita (Arctostaphylos pallida) populations at Huckleberry Botanical Preserve, Redwood Regional Park, Roberts Regional Park, Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve, Sobrante Ridge Regional Preserve, and Tilden Regional Park (Attachment A). This project will include:

•Census and health assessment of known pallid manzanita stands

•Survey for new pallid manzanita individuals adjacent to known stands

•Population demographic comparison analysis of 2017 baseline data with 2025 data
