2021 Annual Pavement Rehabilitation Project

The work to be performed generally consists of pavement rehabilitation and storm drain improvements of various streets within the City of Orinda. The pavement treatment methods include Mill & Overlay, Reconstruction, and Micro Surfacing with base failures. Work to be performed also includes replacing storm drain pipes using open trench or rehabilitating storm drains using trenchless technology, replacement of curb and gutter, concrete or asphalt lined ditches and asphalt dikes, pavement striping, lowering and raising of utility covers, replacing detector loops, locating and preserving survey monuments and filing of appropriate record documents with County recorder’s office.
