2021 Corrosion Test Station Rehabilitation Project
The work to be done under this contract consists of furnishing of all labor, equipment and those materials not furnished by the District required for rehabilitating corrosion test stations, installing magnesium anodes and underground cathodic protection tracer wire. Excavation work under this contract shall be performed using vacuum excavating equipment. All anode rehabilitation locations selected for this contract are located in dirt areas only. No AC paving will be required. Hand excavation will only be allowed in areas inaccessible to the vacuum excavation equipment. The Contractor shall arrange for locating other underground facilities through, and in accordance with the requirements of locating other underground facilities through, and in accordance with the requirements of Underground Service Alert for a 10 foot distance around each test station or hydrant. In addition, the Contractor shall file for, obtain and pay all fees for all necessary permits for the work under this contract as stated in the General Specifications Article 15.
