The work shall include installing a splash pad at the north side of Central Park, north of the existing carousel and west of the existing tot lot playground, removing and replacing concrete panels on the south side of the park where the old splash pad used to be, and installing a new drainage system under the great lawn. The splash pad feature will include an underground holding tank, a small pump station including chlorine injection, fencing, and new picnic tables west of the carousel in accordance with the intent of the Project Plans and Specifications. All work shall be performed in accordance with the City of Davis Standard Specifications January 1996 Edition, Addenda through September 2021, General Prevailing Wage Rate, Labor Surcharge and Equipment Rental Rates, and the Contact Documents. The Project is funded partially by grant funds from a California Station Proposition 68 Grant. Accordingly, all Grant Requirements set forth in the Contract Documents must be complied with. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents and all applicable local and state laws and regulations.
