WTP Filter Improvements and Hypochlorite Conversion

Location and Description. The Project is located at 300 Olympia Drive, Pittsburg, CA 94565-5700, and is described as follows:

The project consists of the addition of five new filters and conversion of the gaseous chlorine system to a liquid hypochlorite system. The project also has two alternate additive bid items consisting of the following 1) equipment and media for the sixth filter, and 2) new North Filter Effluent Clearwell and demolition of the existing North Filter Effluent Clearwell.

Estimated Cost. The estimated construction cost is $45,000,000.
