RFP for Public Access Planning Services at the Chouinard & Owen Properties

The East Bay Regional Park District (Park District) invites proposals from qualified professional consultants to provide planning and design services to develop a public access plan at the Chouinard and Owen properties along Palomares Road within Garin Regional Park and Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park. The consultant and their team will: prepare background and technical studies, prepare schematic designs and alternatives with cost estimates, conduct California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) analysis and compliance, and participate in public meetings held by the Park District. The consultant shall provide schematic designs and alternatives for a public access point at the Chouinard property that would serve as a staging area with direct access into both parks. This recruitment is an open, competitive request for proposals (RFP) process to select a firm or team to produce a conceptual public access plan for the Chouinard property in Garin Regional Park and the Owen property in Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park. Consultants are encouraged to review this RFP and submit their qualifications if they believe this project is a good fit with the interests, skills, and abilities of their firm or team.
