Water Treatment Plant Tank Rehab 21-02

The scope of work generally consists of the necessary preparations and subsequent installation of three (3) new polypropylene tanks at the Water Treatment Plant, Chemical Tank Farm. Minor electrical, PVC piping and concrete surface rehabilitation are required to complete the installation. All used tanks will be required to be removed from the facility and properly disposed. The project consists of two main phase. Phase 1 includes the installation and successful start up of two Sodium Hydroxide Tanks. Phase 2 includes the removal and installation of an Alum Tank seismic upgrades to three existing tanks. Work associated with Phase 1 shall be completed within 14 Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run as specified in the initial Notice to Proceed. A second Notice to Proceed will be issued for the Phase 2. Work associated with Phase 2 shall be completed within 21 Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run as specified in the Phase II Notice to Proceed. The second Notice to Proceed shall be issued no later than 90 days from the first Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost of construction for the project is $145,000.
